I didn't know you could get a BFG KM2 M/T in a 27"!!

Which one you go with depends on what your doing with them. They're both good tires..

The Hankook MT's are gonna be better for an all-purpose tire, they have a firmer tread block that wears slower, but don't grip as well on rocks.

BFG's KM2's have softer tread and are a great off road, but wear faster than something like a Hankook MT or a Maxxis Bighorn. BFG MT's do great in rocks and hard surfaces.

I love my Maxxis Bighorns and will definitely be buying another set when that time comes. They wear MUCH slower than a BFG MT (KM or KM2), have bigger clean-outs and IMO dig MUCH more aggressively.

My $.02

I run the Hankooks on my truck, have had them on my diesel ford for about 4 years and they are great in the snow and on on the street. They gum up pretty bad in the mud. BUt they are quiet on the highway which is a big plus over the maxis or KM2.

well im moving from washington to colorado. so going from mud to, rocks n sand?

AKGhandi do you have any idea if you can actually run those ITP radials on the road? I cant find any info on DOT compliance or load rating per tire.

it was mostly a joke lol

i dont think you can run them on a car legally, but the load rating is 1000lbs.

the only problem i see with them is the psi they run, which is about half a normal tire.

these are dot approved. swampers for subarus!

I would go with the B.F. Goodrich if I had the money. When I get my lift under my hatch, I hope I have the money for BFG's. No more than the car weighs (2000lb.) they should last forever. As far as how good they are, take A look at all of the trophy trucks and Baja buggies. They torcher them to a grueling end and still go buy more. If I am budgeted when my lift goes on, and I probably will be, I am going to use firestone winterforces. I beleive the grip would be unreal. They don't usually cost more than $70 each in 14's or 15's 27" tall.

Nice! SO the question is, can I run a 27 9.50 14 on a Loyale with the 2" BOSS lift....or do I need to choke down and go 4"??

i use the bfgs on my fishing car very good in mud and rocks not so good in snow realy not good in snow i use there twinn in the snow bfg comertial track with ice studds. Butt for summer the bfgs mud terains are very good and tough. I run a 235-75 r15

you can run 27" tires on a 2" lifted car, there might be a little trimming but noting serious.

Sweet!!! That'll be next! Think I have a line on the 14" PUG steelies....if not, gonna convert it over to 6 lug and run stock Mazda or Nissan wheels.
