My dad bought it in 98-99, and it ran! Then he got sick in 04 and it sat in storage till 2011. And unfournatly it didnt run, obviously. Last year on my birthday, dad gave it to me. So i'm FINALLY tearing in to her!

Sounds great, and you're in the right place for lots of information on these cars. There are a few other builds going on right now on subarus from that era. Car like that is worth taking lots of time on. Quite a gem!

Ive never seen a subaru like this before till my dad got it! Its so interesting and unique! With the sucide front doors and 2 cill 2 stroke engine. 0-60 in like 3 days! lol but the 66 mpg trumps that!

ahhh thats awesome! good for you! every time I go to my local suby dealership I drool over the absolutely MINT 360 they have in the show room! ONE DAY

If this thread had a "like" button I would press it

Can't wait to watch the progress here!

so.... whats your plans?

Change the oil and gas it up?

or go wild and put new wipers on it too?

Nice.

Oh WOW!

NICE!

Nate Wade Subaru here in Salt Lake has an old 360 like that but all restored, and a 2G Brat, in their showroom inside..

That sounds like a dealership I wouldn't mind visiting!

My to do list is huge on this! lol The interior is really nice! I was surprised for it sitting in a storage unit for 7 years! I was in iraq when my father had to put it in storage. All it really needs is carptet, new head liner, and new wiper switch. I'm on the border of changing it to flat black, or keep her the stock turd brown color lol.

I vote for the OEM color, maybe clean it up a bit with some polish. Flat black seems a bit too popular these days.

Yeah that was my worry. I've always been a fan of flat black, and i'm deff keeping the engine completely stock. One of my dads frineds has a 360 and he murdered it! Painted it ferrari yellow, and stock a damn John Deere lawnmower engine in it! Idk what the hell he was smokin when he did that
