I'm going to look at a sohc ej25 in a few weeks that will be going into my 91 Loyale.  The guys has the motor, harness, and ECU.  I have r&r engines before but this is my first swap, so the wiring and engine management are the only intimidating parts.  

Should I get the ecu too or do most people use the EA82 ecu?  The donor car was an automatic and my loyale is a 5spd.

The EA82 ECU is useless.
