i seem to find all kinds of info on lifting impressa's and old loyals and gl's and all but cant seem to find any info on getting my gen 2 ob just a little taller anyone point me in the right direction?

Pretty sure yours is a Gen3. But they do make lift kits for yours as well. Here is a link,

That and bump up in tire size a bit after the lift.

I got one

I used king springs(get-primitive.com and 1" spacer from subtlesolutions.com.  I got 2.5" lift and fit 28" tires under no problem.
