  1. Yeah I haven't driven my jeep in probably 2 years maybe more haha
  2. Yeah I forgot to post since I've finished that. It's a pretty sweet set up honestly, the dual t case is simple stuff that happens all the time in the 4wd would just gives you an extra low range. The dual transmissions gives me all sorts of extra gears on road and off road.
  3. Been working on a new trans set up, dual trans and dual tcase
  4. He's some poser flex from my last job, just about maxed out a 60" hi-lift Jack with more flex left
  5. I got a dual range Ej trans with 4.11 gears and the 1.59 low range of you need it
  6. I was screwed from the start it was buried past the rear axle before I locked the front hubs in, but nothing low low reverse didn't fix
  7. Here's a picture from the other week messing around in a field at my friends farm, haven't had much time to wheel, works been taking all my time up
  8. Yeah man everything is done and it's driving great, I've been daily driving it since the 29th of December. Still need to get a winch for it
  9. Update, got all the hydro assist stuff mount just waiting for the amsoil fluid and a couple of brake line fittings and I'll have brakes and power steering. It steers right now, but without power steering it's pretty much useless. Still need to buy driveshafts and shocks.
  10. I'm trying to get it finished so I can hit the trails then I will get pictures and videos
  11. I got room for 44s in the front for sure, maybe in the back, but I'm really liking those 41.5" pitbull rocker radials. I'm gonna see how it does with the 38.5s. Just need drives shafts and a couple of other small things now
  12. Thanks for the compliments, I've always liked those model 4runners. And the axles are made by diamond axle, a bit pricey but very good quality.
  13. I don't know if you tell from the pictures but all the spring mounts tie into the change in so way shape or form, my girlfriend tells me I'm not good at taking pictures. But I've had a couple buggy and Toyota guys that have seen it in person say it's good and solid.
  14. That's all I have now, I'll get more once I get off work
  15. I only have one tire mounted so far but 38.5x14.50x15 tsl sx
  16. At least you have trailer, I don't even have one. Axles should be fine on 38s, chromoly 30 spline inners, longfield otters, chromoly hub gears, 30 spline chromoly rear shafts and chromoly drive flanges on the rear full float. Both front and rear axles have 3.5" .375 wall axle tubes and .5" third member mating surface.
  17. I tried to set it up for a little more down travel than up, which is why they are at the angle they are. I've cycled the suspension as much as I can with what I have and I'm happy with it. The shackle being at 90 degrees has no effect on the spring rate. I was trying to keep it low with a little up travel(4-6 inches) and more down(8-10 inches). I'm sure it will work fine. If it doesn't I'll just redo it. And yeah it seems every time I get my shop/garage clean it gets messy again. I blame the fact I don't have enough room.
  18. Because I can get decent flex out of leaf springs, easy to set up and cheaper. If I ever go to links it will be coilovers front and rear
  19. The wheel base is about 123" Those first pictures had different springs in the front. The shackle angle as it sits now is about 50 degrees front and 45 degrees in the rear. And no my gearing is not too low. I don't have to be in low low 1st all the time. I have way more options than that. ...................1st......2nd......3rd.....4th.......5th High/high...23:1....14:1....10:1....5:1......4.3:1 Low/high....52:1....33:1....23:1...12:1.....10:1 High/low...107:1...68:1.....48:1...24:1.... 20:1 Low/low....244:1...155:1..109:1..56:1.....47:1 Every possible final gear ratio I have in my car that will be on 38.5s
  20. Temp steering linkage to make sure it would work before using good parts
