Hey community ..

gotta '94 gx impreza ej18 fwd 5sp .. and love it.. but i have a water leak coming from the rubber seal for the timing belt cover.. had a look on here but can't find much info.. anyone got any clues?

as he said probably water pump, thermostat housing or bypass hose.

can you post a picture of where it's coming from?

does it have coolant or water in the cooling system?

Water now ... wasn't gonna put coolant back in til i fixed the leak.. gotta full bottle of coolant waiting.... ill take a pic if i can but til then... its leaking out of the rubber seal just next to where the hose attaches on the passenger side

Make sure to run distilled water, and NOT tap water as the minerals in tap water will eventually clog the cores in the radiator. Giant Eagle, Walmart, etc. sell the big jugs of Distilled water for like a $1 each. I personally always have about 5 gallons on hand just in case. Make sure to mix the coolant with distilled too.
