February 14, 201412 yr Thanks, I assume that bolt on the back side of the motor needs a 12mm box wrench? Yup and there are a couple 10mm under the oil pan and windage tray. One at on the side of the large coolant tube/chamber right behind the waterpump.
February 14, 201412 yr Author Yep I got all those off I just need to take off the 12 mm block bolts and the one on the back part of the motor.
February 14, 201412 yr Author Wait a sec... I guess the socket needs to be 12 mm 3/4"? My 1/2 is too fat.
February 14, 201412 yr Author Yes I know but my 1/2" socket won't fit where the water jackets are. Im not sure if they make it in 3/8"
February 14, 201412 yr use a 3/8 socket and ext with the adapter to 1/2 unless you have a 3/8 size breaker bar. O.
February 16, 201412 yr Author I ended up returning everything and just ordering this which will be here Monday http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00271N7OG/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You can see on my picture attachment the hump part of the socket is why it wont fit to reach the bolts because it's too fat to fit Edited February 16, 201412 yr by 1-3-2-4
February 16, 201412 yr I know the issue. I just use a 3/8 socket with a breaker bar or an adapter to the 3/8 from 1/2. Whichever was handier at the moment. Generally the 1/2 adapter so I can use my impact wrench to wind the bolts out. O.
