EA82- Can anyone tell me what this plugs into? Somewhere close to the thermostat housing...thanks.

It looks like the plug that goes into the back of the alternator but thats in the wrong area of the engine. The picture doesn't really tell enough. I see its laying between the throttle body and the power steering pump. I assume if goes into the wiring harness or is it a sensor? Can you give any more info, wire colors, check engine code, anything?

I ended up figuring it out. It is the solenoid valve that hooks up to the throttle body and EGR valve.

Are you missing the solenoid?

No, I ended up finding it in the giant pile of parts sitting in the back seat.
