I'm pretty new to the world of Subarus and am glad to be here. I have a 85 GL with an EA82 from an 87(?) Loyale. The problem comes in when one of the previous owners started doing modifications. One of the modifications was to slap the largest carb on it that could be found.  I couldn't even tell you where the carb came from or what it is supposed to go to. What I would like to do is try and return it as close to modified stock as I can but I need to find an air intake assembly for it. I'm not particular about it being after market or used. Mainly want something that was designed for the EA82. I've done Google, Craigslist and ebay searches without much luck. Any suggestions?

Investigateto see if a weber carb has been installed. this is a common swap, as it is much more simple and tunable than the stock hitachi, which relies on a lot of electrical and vacuum solenoids to function properly.
