I have owned a 1995 Subaru Legacy for 5 years but my son has driven it the whole time.  It has 165,000 miles on it. WOW

WOW, such low mileage. very longevity. Expect 300,000 or better

The Dual-Port Non-interference EJ22 in these are amazing. Pretty un-killable, 300,000 isn't uncommon for these engines with basic maintenance. Best of luck with it! 

True that! A friend of mine had a 95' Wagon with 375,000 on the original engine! ...and it's still cruisin.
