July 9, 201411 yr yes but you have to use the strut mount from the subaru and the spring needs to fit in the strut mount
July 9, 201411 yr Author Perfect, so how come everyone resorts to subaru legacy coilovers when miata ones can be found for way cheaper

July 9, 201411 yr Cuz ebay coilovers ride like crap but it works. not gonna lie it makes up for the Sh*t status rear sway bar I've got.
July 9, 201411 yr So do the fronts fit aswell? No. Miata's use an upper / lower control arm suspension with the integrated shock/spring (coilover). EA82's use a McPherson strut setup, like almost all other Subaru's. Which means the front suspension has a lower arm, and the strut acts as the shock/spring/ & upper control arm.
July 10, 201411 yr ^This. So you have to mcguyver some stuff together. I used XT struts on stock springs up front and NB Miata coilovers in back, sits pretty good. Might toss in some coilovers in front though.
