Parts Question

Featured Replies

Sorry if this was discussed previously but not possessing too much knowledge in the way of autos I figured posting would yield a better result than searching.

Recently my wife and I walked out to our car to find a part missing, I'm not too familiar with part names/numbers so I'll post a pic, not sure if it came off during a drive over some road construction or if it was simply taken.  In any event, any help would be great in terms of where I can find the part.  It's a 2013 Impreza Hatchback, Charcoal grey.  From checking the manual it might be the fog light cover but thought I would pose the question here to be certain I went ahead and tried to locate the correct part.

Thanks much

Mike

For a. 2013 your dealer will probably be the only source for a missing body part. There is no aftermarket demand for body parts on most cars until they've reached 10-12 years of age. A used part will be difficult to find since most salvage yards consider that to be part of the bumper and would not likely sell it individually.

Take the car to a dealer and they can correctly identify, order, and install the replacement part.

Will do.  Thanks much for the reply.

That's the fog light surround- I think it only has some clips that hold it in.

Thanks, I figured it'd be an easy install if I could just get the part so I was hoping to get around getting overcharged at the dealer for their (inflated) part cost + time, etc.
