Wipers intermediate fix where to find ?

Featured Replies

looking for the write up on how to re-solder the wiper board thing to fix the intermediate function not working quite right.

thanks

Try to open that round thing that is attached to the wiper motor and clean contacts.

Good luck,

Sam

Not aware of any 'how to' fix thread on here - but they shouldn't be that hard to pull apart & fix + there’s few things you can do to help :

Firstly - What model is your car ? - As not all Subaru's came with intermittent wipers ...

Secondly - Re-soldering the board should help as they do tend to 'dry out' over time, just check with a multi meter for correct ratings etc. + check for burnt out components as well ... ;)

Thirdly - You can clean-up & regrease the wiper mechanism / motor to make sure its running smoothly ...

Cheers, Bantum ...
