  1. I swapped the older metal relays whit the newer plastic relays from JY imprezas.
  2. Look what I found, good luck. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-USA-4x140-To-4x100-Wheel-Adapters-1-25mm-Thick-12x1-25-Fits-Subaru-Suzuki-/253945420065 https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-USA-4x140-To-4x108-Wheel-Adapters-1-25mm-Thick-12x1-25-Fits-Subaru-Suzuki-/253945441830

  5. I made up the heat shrink wires for the 2002+ EJ to EA plug.
  6. My 1991 Loyale was slow on the wiper also. So i added a ground wire from the wiper gearbox to the strut tower. FIXED it quite well.
  7. the EJ alternators are mostly 90 amp, and a direct bolt in. just have to swap pulleys, and connect the electrical. and yes i will make those connection heat shrink.
  8. So last week my stock alternator died. I replaced it with my GM 1 wire alternator 60 amp , which i keep for just this type of circumstance. Since the tension bolt does not match up. I installed it with my Redneck wood shims method of tightness. Then on Monday i was able to get an JY alternator from a 2002 EJ25, $17.50 Below are the wiring diagrams I used. Now with everything on still have 14.1 at battery.
  9. Maybe it is the throughout bearing in the MT. Test this: remove the belts. rev the engine. if it still squeaks then is is not the belts or pulleys. it may not be the TO bearing. but is do love tests.
  10. 1991 Loyale Wagon 4wd MT So my 4wd switch has failed for the third time. My local Junkyards, near Salem Oregon often have parts available. I want to try a different solution. My plan to is to install a 3 way toggle in the dash as a replacement for the stick shift button. And then choose an awesome replacement shift knob. I have researched but not been able to find a diagram of this system. I did find some 1988 Justy stuff but only the vacuum/mechanical, not the electrical. Note: Direct vacuum to each diaphragm line does work and actuate the 4wd , I heard the clunk, and saw the green 4WD light on the dash. I am looking for the wiring diagram. I want to know this: Switch wire -3 - white , red, yellow wire from firewall - 4 - blue, green/yellow, black, black (2) . plug:plug to vacuum switches black black, white white. vacuum switches 1 has 2 black , 1 has 2 white.
  11. Just found these on the website. https://www.lesschwab.com/tires/products/city-r202?size=165-82-13&li=82&sr=s&pn=12966 They are stock size for my 1991 Loyale , 165SR13 Any opinions?
  12. You should be able to use a generic part: but you might have to open bolt hole http://www.polyperformance.com/Daystar-Urethane-Bump-Stop?quantity=1
  13. LOOSE connections several check the Fusible links (with 12v test light), inspect the relay plugins ( listen and feel for Click when key is switched on ), inspect for broken Vacuum lines ( the runs only when foot on pedal ) is a symptom on Too much air during idle NOT being metered
