Camshaft plug seal leak

Featured Replies

My 2006 Impreza Outback Sport, EJ253 has a leak at the right bank rear cam plug. I have found the replacement part for less than $10 but I am not sure how to NOT cause more damage removing the old one. Has anyone had this issue, and what is the best course of action to resolve it?

Thanks

it's not the valve cover gaskets or head gasket?

either way it sounds like you'll be doing a valve cover gasket job.

1. valve cover gaskets

2. spark plug tube gaskets

3. reseal the plug(s) as needed
