Am stoked to get my EA81 back from the engine builder. rebore, new torquey cam, balanced, new oil pump etc.  And those chromed covers.

 

SPFI manifold, Weber 38/38 to go on top helping to push the VW auto trans along.

Damn, I don't even like chrome and that makes me want.  Somehow the chromed valve covers really tie the whole piece together.  Nice work Tweety.

Engine is in the trike. All hooked up ready for a Porsche radiator (centre type being dimensions 610x170x41mm. ) to be purchased in February with 180mm thermatic fans.
