, So i had a failed pneumatic suspension system in my 1987 xt gl10. I Swapped it to coil overs, every thing is great except, The height indicatior light (little picture of car) jumps up and down flashing. So my question is can i make this stop? i have pulled the fuse for the compressor.  Do i need to unplug  the compressor instead, if so how do i access it? thanks...

The control unit is located under the driver side door sill.  Really need to pull the seat, roll back the carpet to gain access. Plus you have to remove that plastic sill plate. Anyways, just unplug it and problem solved. 

At each strut you cut a wire. Inside are 4 condutors. Tie together the blue/brown wires, and the system thinks it's at normal height. Easier than pulling apart your interior.

or you can just completely pull the compressor out and sell it to me if it still works?

thanks so much guys, i ended up pulling the seat to do it. it was super easy and took less then 10min and everything went back together great…
