February 2, 201511 yr I took the coupe out muddling the other day and was on my way out of the mud going up a slight hill had it in 2wd and heard a snap and it was just spinning. So I put it in 4 hi and made it home. I'm in Texas and there's not alotta Subaru mechanics. What do y'all think it might be that I need to fix. Any help is appreciated.

February 3, 201511 yr Or you snapped the rollpin. If so most likely it's the on the passenger side. Hopefully it's not a striped stub shaft.
February 6, 201511 yr Author Ok thanks guys. I thought it might b a hub Cus that's happened before I'll check it out this weekend. Appreciate the responses.
February 6, 201511 yr If you stripped a hub the cause is often a loose axle nut (the washers have to go on a certain way to keep it right properly) At least that was the case on my 87.
