February 8, 201511 yr Could not get the lights in the bumper on, bunch of corrision in socket figured that was the issue. Bought a buffing wheel for the Dremel got them all clean an pretty, still no go.. Had to go buy another circuit tested since the gremlins hide my other one, got the one that tells which leg is negative, glad I couldn't find mine, turns out both legs are positive, where do I find the origin of those wires?
February 9, 201511 yr Aren't those just blinkers dude? If this is a loyale or gl the marker lights are the corner lights next to the headlights. Maybe you are working on something else?
February 9, 201511 yr Author Well, the way my brain has been going lately that could very well well be the case. That being said one of those should be negative should it not. This is the 86 Brat GL Edited February 9, 201511 yr by Dinky26
February 9, 201511 yr Try touching a piece of wire to the light housing and a good ground on the car with the lights on. If it comes on you have a bad ground. . I am guessing the two hot wires are : lights and blinker.
February 9, 201511 yr Author Yep, another SPECIAL MOMENT for me today, Aren't those just blinkers dude? If this is a loyale or gl the marker lights are the corner lights next to the headlights. Maybe you are working on something else?you were write RIGHT those are the blinkers. Some days I should wear a helmet.????????????????
February 9, 201511 yr Hey, at least you can admit your mistake! It happens to everyone every once in a while. I don't know much about the second gen brats but I did know the gl's and loyales the blinkers are down there!
February 9, 201511 yr Brats/hatches/EA81 wagons etc.....they do have a marker on the side of the front bumper......small bulb. And both legs are not positive. You are seeing a backfeed from the marker on the other side.
