February 27, 201511 yr Any ideas for removing a big suspension bolt that is seized in the rear lower control arm? I've soaked it on PBBlaster overnight and have used an air ratchet and a breaker bar and tried driving it out from the other end. Before I try removing the whole control arm, any garage tricks I should try?
February 27, 201511 yr Perhaps some heat? Legacy, right? Is this the long bolt on the lower part of rear suspension? Those can be a pain. You might have to pull the trailing arm with it and work it over out of the car. Someone from the "rust belt" might come along with a better solution too. Edited February 27, 201511 yr by Crazyeights
February 27, 201511 yr Trailing arm? Or the lateral link bolt? Are you replacing the bushing? Or taking it apart for some other reason?
February 27, 201511 yr Author I took the whole control arm off. I have to make sure the alignment stays at least close.
