Exhaust manifold cast piece? Need help

Featured Replies

Picture attached. I need to know if the thing that's pointed to comes off, and where I can get one if it does. My current exhaust is welded to it.

Pic isn't mine

If you don't have any of the exhaust recirculation stuff or if you want to delete them have the exhaust flanges made to just bolt to the heads. The turbo headers just bolt to the heads and the y-pipes do on the non catalyst cars.

So taking those off and taking and blocking off the egr would suffice? Or could I just remove these

You don't have to get rid of the egr but you can if you want. Really depends if you have to pass emissions or not. You need to rework the y-pipe you have or make a new one when you take the spacers out.10277606_442257772576033_80016230743476610457903_509688409166302_588247320976088

I live in michigan, so there's no emissions to speak of. Any idea how much getting a y pipe made would be?

I have no idea. I usually make my own stuff since exhaust shops are expensive.

Any chance you could make one up/ ship it?

Wy not just leave them in? On mine, i removed the threaded pipe from the spacer, then cut them to just 2" long, heated the end, hammered the end flat, and welded them shut, and reinstalled into the spacer. Now the spacer is just acting as an adapter between the pipe and the head.

Because my spacer is ruined, po welded the exhaust right to it.
