im new to site i like the rear spring upgrade putting it in soon i want to put a digital dash head in place of a regular head will it swap in or is there wiring to deal with

There are wires to deal with, the connectors are totally different. But the bigger question is, why would you want to replace an anolog dash with a digital one, most people who have digital dashes would rather have the anaolog dashes. There are times when you can even see the digi-dash because of glare.

Dr.RX is right, almost all the digi dashes are crap, trust us, just stick with the anolog, its not worth the trouble.

Not all the digidashes are crap. I have had 4 soobs with fully functional digidashes. I have heard that the EA81 digidashes are problematic, as well as the 85-86 EA82 digidashes.. But All of mine have been 87+ and trouble free..I can even see them when theres a glare..

 

That said, I still wouldn't swap an analog for a digi.. lots of work, no gain.
