what size tire for 2'' lift?

Featured Replies

so i am about to do a 2'' lift on my 1990 subaru loyale and was wondering what will be the biggest tire i can through under it? i am planning on drillin the hubs to 6 lug bolt pattern and just wondering what combinations you guys have done? Or if i should even redrill my hubs im just trying to figure out what i should do wheel and tire wise.

you can redrill the 6 bolt rims to 4 bolt or redrill the hubs to 6 bolt Ive done both with good results, either way you use 2 of the original holes, I can do your hubs at my shop , 26" on the 2" lift

how would i know where to exacty drill the rims? i see people doing it but i am not quite sure how exatly to do it? and thx for responding!

here's a good video on how to drill the hubs. Now to drill the rims, punch 2 studs out of a hub and bolt it up to the 6 lug wheel and punch the centers through the hub onto the rim. Then drill the 2 holes in the rim. For those 2 hold its best to flip your nut over because more of the steel wheels have a slight ( to them. It help the nut sit better flush with the rim.
