  1. I managed to change the water pump on my 1990 ea82 with just taking a few bolts out of timing cover bend it back a bit and change the water pump took me 8~ hours or so. I'm 17 as well, how ironic lol

  3. So once again i have a problem with the loyale. So here it is, I have had both front axle nuts come loose. and i tighten them down and eveything seems good. exept that i will give it gas and then a huge thunk and rpms shoot up and hear a grinding noise. and i will put the axle nut on as tight as physically possible then it will do the same thing. Then it will work again. it has happened on both sides now. And im nervious to drive it far because the axle nuyt will stay tight but the thunk/grinding will happen randomly. i think its the hubs just let me know what you guys think, thanks! any response would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
  4. Since i dont have space space for a donor/parts car. i bought an ej22 thats almost all there just needs a rebuild. But while i am doing that I found a 95 impreza 2.2 at a junk yard. and the motor i baught was out of a legacy. so they are the same year, just out of different cars. So i am curious if i can snag that one out of the impreza, and it will work with the ej out of a legacy of the same year.
  5. So I have a 95 phase 1 ej22 out of a 95 legacy. I need an ECU and wiring harness still. And a u pull near me has a 95 impreza with ej22. Could I pull that wiring harness and make it work with the ej22 I have from the legacy? And help is greatly appreciated! Thanks
  6. I lifted my wagon 2inches and it has 29's on it and I have the sway bar disconnected in the front only and it handles just fine.
  7. ok thanks you guys for the input! I will look into the oring kit
  8. So, i have a little above 220,000 on my loyale and was wanting to keep the ride. But it has a loud lifter tick. I was also wanting something faster. So i was wondering if i should rebuild the EA82 and put a smaller turbo on it or ej22? i think the ea82 rebuild would be easier for me but i just wanted to get some input from the people with more expiernce! Thanks, Ash
  9. I just taped the headlight off, then put a light coat of off brand plasty dip and the light shines right through looks good!
  10. I just taped then off and put a light coat of off brand plasti dip on it look pretty good even up close. And the light shines right through no problem
  11. I went with ADF 2inch with the 1.5 inch crossmember spacers. And im running 29 inch at3's. i had to cut quite a bit but it only rubs when i get close to full steering lock. or im bouncing pretty hard. still very driveable for everyday use. i have had no problems so far. but i do get more attention than if i ran down the street naked.
  12. 2 inch lift with 1.5 crossmember spacers from ADF. Well worth the work and money! Way better than I expected it to be!
  13. Can't believe the attention you get driving around!
