Ok how the heck does the side marker lens come out? The ones on the front fenders? The car is a 97 Impreza obs. Do I have to remove the front wheel plastic splash guard? Removal procedure is not in my manual and I cannot find it online.

Lift up hood there should be one screw there. Should pull out after this.

No not the side headlight assembly. The little side marker lights that are towards the rear of the front fender, closer to the front of the front doors. Looks like I have to get at the rear of it through the inner fender.

Will have to check when I get back to my garage,

I have to refresh my memory by looking at the one I have loose. Perhaps someone with an Impreza will chime in before I get back with the answer.

There are spring clips holding them.

Use a plastic pry bar or cover your screwdriver with cloth.
