what kind of lift duration specs would be best to give my engine more performance in an ea81??

I can't recall the specs but the go-to cam is the Delta torque grind cam. I run it in my Brat, good cam.

does it have a little more get up and go then stock?

They have all sorts of different grinds, your best bet would be to give them a phone call and talk through what you're looking for.

what would i do for lifters?

call them and ask.  what you do with the valve train probably depends what cam you get and the condition of your existing valve train.  it's been a long time but i feel like you can check your rockers/have them tweaked too?

they do this stuff all the time for years (decades now) and are great to work with.  just ring them.
