March 11, 201610 yr Has anyone replaced their oil separator plate? I will be pulling the motor and servicing the clutch and separator plate but I'm not sure if the new metal oil separator plate just bolts on and that's it or if there's gaskets, o-rings, or sealant involved in installing the new one? Thanks
March 11, 201610 yr Get the new allen type bolts, bought separately. Might as well reseal the access plate on the opposite side. Sealant alone will suffice for both. O.
March 11, 201610 yr Author I found a plate on eBay that comes with screws. And are you referring to the wrist pin access plate o-ring on the opposite side?
March 12, 201610 yr yes. Can be sealed with only sealant. If the o ring is in once piece, reuse it and put sealant on cover. O.
