March 20, 201610 yr That's about as good as I can explain it. When engine is cold I will take off and there is a short moment of hesitation and sputtering. Once I get past the hesitation everything runs fine. There has not been a cel so I'm sure there is not a code. Possible vacuum leak? Any suggestions?
March 20, 201610 yr Vacuum leak, ECT sensor, post MAF air leak, TPS issue, Ignition issue. Just a start.
March 21, 201610 yr could just be bad fuel, did this start recently after a fill up ? possibly dirty fuel filter/injector, dirty plugs, pcv valve Start with the easy tests first.

It's been happening after multiple fill ups. I tend to get my fuel from the same place in all of my vehicles and none of them are experiencing this issue.
March 21, 201610 yr I have experienced a similar thing but not on regular occasion. The one common thing are cold damp mornings. Only happens about one a month when trying to accelerate at the bottom of my hill. Feather the pedal and it starts running normally.

Only happens about one a month when trying to accelerate at the bottom of my hill. Feather the pedal and it starts running normally. For me it seems to happen more and more consistently every morning or every afternoon after work when the car has been sitting 8 hrs or more. However this morning I didn't notice it lol
March 21, 201610 yr I go down a hill then turn up a hill and that is the point where it starts hesitating. I may see if there is debris in the tank. Not sure how to go about it though. Edited March 21, 201610 yr by MR_Loyale
May 7, 20169 yr Author After a few weeks of tinkering and testing I found the issue to be fixed by changing the Coolant Temperature Sensor. Thanks for your help
