I tried to do a search, but couldn't find the information I was looking for. What are differences between the EA81 and EA82 front strut springs?

 

Using Jes Zek's spring write up I am looking into installing the Ford Tempo springs on my Brat since my front springs are completely shot, and since these springs seem to work fine on his EA82 Bumblebeast, I am curious if they will also work well on my adjustable EA81 struts.

sounds resolved, but I will pipe up just to say got EA82 front struts in my EA81 complete with EA82 coils and the ride is beefed up just a small pleasant amount, not too hard, got an extra 15mm ride height and so far has been great on tar, dirt and rocky roads

I did the same as Jono, many years ago when I had my Brat. Great results. I just drilled new holes for the 3 bolt strut top so the entire assembly could bolt in.
