musubk
I'm tired of having a gaping hole in the floor where the shifter sticks through, so I'm going to make a shift boot soon. I'd like to see what some other people have done for this.
dfoyl
I still use the factory shift boot, but I cut the metal frame down into a U-shape with the section facing the back of the vehicle being cut out.
skishop69
Obviously you've cut the floor to fit it in so you'll have to modify a factor console to work or buy an aftermarket boot kit. I modified the shelf the shifter mounts to as well as the linkages so it sits in the same hole which I believe is what most do. Jerry sells a kit with all the pre-fabbed parts to install so it goes through the factory hole..
