What did you guys do? I have had the swap in for a while and am having problems with a 1k rpm idle once warmed up, and after driving i can hear that black tank in back gurgling, its an 84 hatch. Im gonna try a new iac, but still need an answer on the black box, ive read letting the tank vent dangle under the car, but not sure which line to disconnect

Bump, trying a gas cap with a hole in the rubber to allow venting, no more gurgle but im sure this isnt the best and final solution to this problem

Maybe a cap from a spfi? Or investigate what is in one, and modify?

 

Did you swap the evaporate system?

What changes did you make to the fuel system? Besides swapping fuel pumps.

Let me know if you find a vented gas cap. I've been looking for one for my hatch with a ej22.

I followed gds write up, just size adapters where needed and the pump, mounted in stock location, i have the stock charcoal canister for ea81, i ordered a rockauto cap but that didn't work
