03 Baja lift kit.... or what?

Featured Replies

Howdy... new to forum... just got an 03 Baja and wondering about lift kits (which I know nothing about), or other ideas/options. I have a small farm and was actually looking for some sort of 4wd UTV to supplement my tractor for running about with tools and such on 20+ acres when I ran into this Baja for an incredible low price that I couldn't pass on. I'd like to increase ground clearance and/or traction potential. Any ideas out there are appreciated!.....Thanks!

Yep, SJR lift, plus ~29" tall A/T or M/T tires. You'd be surprised.

If it's an auto trans, there's a relatively simple wiring mod to get the AWD (which is normally very front wheel biased) to work a little better offroad. Search for the Duty C mod, and be careful, as most of the documentation is on the older generation transmissions which work a little different.

Thanks.... I searched for "duty C" and didn't turn up anything that meant anything to me.... you meant search the forums, eh?
