Mystery Lift

Featured Replies

I just hooked up a 87 GL wagon with a SJR lift and some other mods, but little info about them (and of course no papers..). I'm trying to determine which lift is on the car - can I assume it's a 3" lift if all of the lift hardware measures 3"?

I was also told I would need to replace the struts eventually - tho it's running fine on stock struts now. Any suggestions on the best setup?

Thanks for any info - I'm new to the Subaru world. In fact, this is the first car I've owned since the 90's.

Sounds like alot of fun enjoy

On a SJR 4" lift all the lower blocks are 3"

Thanks that's the info I needed! I saw u post somewhere else that u run the factory struts with your lifts - u think that's the best set up? Only wondering because the mechanic I bought the wagon from said I would need to replace the struts ...
