I can not get the grill into the car, do I have to remove the headlights to get it in between them, or is something else wrong? Simple question I thought I would ask before  removing them for nothing.

The headlights don't have to come off.  There is a piece of rubber seal between the lights and grille that gets hard and sometimes prevents it from going back in.
