Removing wood trim 2011 Legacy

Featured Replies

I'm trying to replace my wood trim but can't find anywhere that has instructions to remove it. Can someone point me in the right direction. Please and thank you.

If it's the plastic wood grained trim it generally comes off by prying with a flat putty knife/plastic pry tool.  The key is to know where to use the tool.  I don't have a 2011 so I really can't tell you where.

Look at the replacement part as your guide - it'll be abundantly clear how it comes off:

remove fasteners

pry at the locking tabs

if it's tight - work your way around the entire circumference giving it some movement and loosening it up before trying to pop it all the way out.
