97 2.2 legacy fuel temp sensor

Featured Replies

girl friends car has been doing pretty good after i did the head gaskets even though a few people said the engine was probably done but its running great, well pretty good with no over heating or engine noise so im pretty stoked!CEL has been on since we got it so i ran the codes and it says its the fuel temp sensor.where the hell is that at?and no parts store around here even lists one!help please!

It's on the main fuel pump assy inside the fuel tank.  Passenger side.

Pretty easy to change if the studs/nuts are not rusted and you use some WD-40 on the fuel lines.

Subaru will have them new or pull one from a Self serve yard.
