Lift for my 05 subarur legacy wagon

Featured Replies

Hey guys i want to get a little more clearance but was curious id anyone has lidted one before and have any tips.

Thanks.

how much more clearance? up to 34mm's, from what i read, you could install spacers at the strut mount without affecting alignment. i'm making some spacers for my '94 legacy to correct the sagging rear and run a slightly taller tire

Yea that would be nice. Ill look into it seens like a cheaper way to go.

You'll need Outback struts to fit larger tires.

If you want to use Outback struts/springs AND blocks, you'll need subframe spacers. Something more like this kit: http://www.sjrlift.com/index.php/catalog/lift-kits/0-4-lift-kit-2000-detail

You'll probably want to contact Scott directly, though. As you'll probably want to mix and match block heights to compensate. Also, that kit is for a 2000-2004, and an 05-09 would be slightly different (at the very least, the rear bushing on the front control arm is different).

I like Scott at SJR a lot. He's been around here for a long time. But, if he doesn't offer anything for the 05-09, talk to ADF. They don't list anything with front subframe spacers, but I've seen on their Facebook page and such that they've built a couple really big ones. http://andersondesign-fab.com/product/05-09-legacy-2-strut-spacers-w-multi-link-spacers/
