Mine did. Very noticeable on deceleration from 60kmh (37mph).

 

Uni joints all ok, greased em up and no difference.

 

Yoinked the tailshaft out today and sussed it out. Rattle eminating from inside the shaft about 1/3rd the way down from gbox end. Internal balance weight snapped its spotweld and flogging around in there is my best guess.

 

Sourced another shaft today and fitted it this arvo... yay no more rattle.

Odd. I feel like I’ve seen weights on the outside before but maybe not.

 

My first thought is drill it and fill it with expanding foam. Haha
