January 13, 20188 yr Yes the 95 is a dual port exhaust so you’ll need any dual port manifold. 95s can have EGR or not and 98s can have it or not as well, I feel like they usually do have EGR in 98. Any combination can easily be made to work.
January 13, 20188 yr Author it looks like the 98 impreza is a 2.5 RS automatic. If I get a 95 2.2 automatic, they should both be egr. Won't the 2.5 have dual port exhaust as well?
January 13, 20188 yr Yes. Only if it’s an RS every other 98 imp is single port EJ22. All of this is answered directly in my swap thread including 98 RS reference
January 13, 20188 yr Are 2.2 and 2.5 dual port manifolds the same? Far as I know, EJ18, EJ25, and 1990-1995 EJ22s are all dual port and swap.
