February 1, 20188 yr Hi there, we are working on getting an 81 GL road worthy and I found a 79 GL that could be used as a donor, but wondering about differences in interior and body. Are these 2 compatible?
February 1, 20188 yr Different. Not much is going to help you for interior or exterior. Maybe engine and tranny depending on what you have. An 81 DL-5 is a 1600. What engines are in each ? That’s is for USA models. Edited February 1, 20188 yr by moosens
February 1, 20188 yr oh wow, you're in adkins? that is really cool. im only like 15-20minutes from you, talk about a rare occurance. would love to come help you get the car back on the road, and see anything 1st gen, 2nd gen, or 3rd gen on these roads as i have yet to see any of the above the last 6 years of driving around this city, besides me. let me know! i might have some parts for your vehicle too. -wait a second, theres too many coincidences going on right now, you're not talking about my vehicle i have for sale right? and wanting to sacrifice a good condition 1st gen to keep a 2nd gen on the road?
