XT Turbo Recovery/tow points?

Featured Replies

Wondering if someone can help me find the tow point on an 87 XT. I got one for free and need to get it home. Have a tow cable, but haven't been able to hunt down the hook or point

Thanks in advance

Chris

Towed it home by looping the strap through the reinforced part of the bumper. Seemed to work alright without damaging anything, so I'll take it :)

I'm accustomed to XT's have tow hooks at each front and rear corner, but I'm mostly familiar with 88+ models, maybe earlier ones don't?  Although I think my 1987.5 XT Turbo has them too...

If you can't find a tow hook, wrap it over the engine crossmember ;)

Cheers

Bennie
