Ravenwoods Posted October 27, 2018 Share Posted October 27, 2018 My daughter has a 96 Legacy Brighton with the EJ22 engine and manual transmission. It has 116,000 miles on it. I took the Throttle Position Sensor off unaware it has to be adjusted when you put it back on. The car is still running fine but she says it is slower to accelerate. Make a minute adjustment, I would start withe the TPS in the middle of its sweep, and take a test ride. Eventually you will find the sweet spot. Remove ECU and check for voltage with the throttle closed (Connector & terminal / Specified voltage (B136) No. 15 — (B136) No. 17 / 0.45 — 0.55 V [Fully closed.] From my 99 FSM but should be similar.
