Knock Sensor Problem

Featured Replies

2001 Subaru Legacy. Swapped in a jdm 2.0. Get p328 code. When code is erased comes back on while driving. I'm thinking the engine parameters might be different from the original ej25. I'm looking for direction in getting the cel to stay off.

Engine parameters have nothing to do with it. You have a bad sensor, bad connection, or bad wiring. Just cut the connector off the sensor and the harness and crimp them together.

Thanks Gary. I've crimped on a new male connector cleaned the block and sensor and I'm still getting the p328 code after a mile of driving.

Just cut out the connector and hard wire the sensor.

Check the manifold bulkhead connector pins also. Then check the wiring back to the ECU.
