Is the passenger airbag light always on when no one is in the seat? Or, does that indicate a problem?

 

check your owner's manual to confirm, but, I think it's a 'warning' that the pass side is presently disabled.

weight of an 'adult' should turn the light off.

    We had the general airbag warning light  come on in our 2014  Impreza when my son sat in the passenger's seat with wet clothes.
