1986 Brat electric door mirrors

Featured Replies

Dear all,

could you tell me where and front which model I have to buy the door mirrors (and the switch to fit on the Dashboard) to install on my 1986 Brat ?

Just about all the turbo models 83-84 had them. I got mine off of a 84 turbo coupe. They were an option on most of the ea81 cars. I found that most of the wires that plug into the mirrors was already installed so all I had to do was plug and play.

Not all turbo models had power mirrors. I have a set of manual turbo mirrors.

The wiring is mostly there, but you'll need the wiring out of the door from a power mirror donor.

Wow, these are totally NOT an option over here, nor had I heard of them from the JDM models either.

A setup like that would be sweet. I was going to adapt another vehicle’s power mirror mechanism to the brumby side mirrors but never got around to it.

Cheers

Bennie

You are correct. I forgot because I installed the whole door with wiring so mostly it was plug and play.
