I am looking for a good mechanic recommendation here in Newport Beach or Costa Mesa, CA for my 2001 Forester. It requires 60K mile service and the additional recall service.

Welcome to the board.

 

Irvine Subaru is the best dealer that I have dealt with. The people there are really honest and great to work with.

 

They are located off the 5 at Lake Forest.

 

In terms of mechanics I am not sure of any independent shops that specialize in subaru in that area

ohh.. Don't go to South Coast Subaru... They really stink. Irvine and Renick are the best in SoCal.
