I have an EA82T in an 86 XT turbo that i'm hoping to give an aftermarket ECU for tuning purposes. A couple of forums I read suggested the megasquirt ECUs, a little more research said the meagsquirt series 2 would probably be the best to use. Is there anything anyone can tell me about this ECU and how it interacts with this engine? Is there major modifications needed to install it to this car, or is it plug-n-play or damn near it? Any info would be helpful.

Not read much on this sort of thing for years, but after dabbling with a fuel controller tapping into the EA82T options of Throttle Position Switch 85&86, and Throttle Position Sensor 87 on , I used an aftermarket sensor to give controller the required input.
