January 23, 20215 yr My mother in-law's blue roo's turn signal arm assembly by the wheel stopped working finally, after barely limping along for years. Sometimes it would work, most times it would not. So it looks like either the wiring inside or the contacts themselves are restricted and/or the mechanism itself finally broke completely. I a little apprehensive about tearing into the shell assembly to check it out, let alone trying to repair the arm assembly. But just in case it is completely shot, does anyone have a good replacement part (OEM or aftermarket) they could suggest? I'm not sure if the 1985 year is a stand alone, or if other GL's of later years shared the same one. Any suggestions? Edited January 23, 20215 yr by Checkerboard Comet
January 24, 20215 yr I don't have one to sell right now but I did take apart one on my GL, 1984. It is a pretty simple mechanism, and easy to clean. I only had to clean off the grease, and polish the parts, and then it was like new. Take lots of photos, and be aware that there are some ball bearings and small springs which can fall out. Magnets can help retain these. mkoch Edited January 24, 20215 yr by mkoch
