I believe that the one in my 81 4wd wagon is out of a 87 4wd wagon, it has a yellow handle and I’m not sure to trust the oil reading. Searched the forum and no luck. Thanks. el_freddo Posted February 28, 2022 Share Posted February 28, 2022 From memory the two dipsticks are different. My ‘91 EA81 brumby has a yellow handle on the dip stick. It was industry standard by then no doubt. pksjeep Posted March 7, 2022 Share Posted March 7, 2022 I think I got mine from a EA82 engine, it has a yellow handle also. The original one the handle gets broken off when the spare tire is removed.
