Ok i know how to do it in my EA82 car, and i know i work at a wrecking yard but i am not gental when i take dashes apart.

 

so how do i take off all the parts on the dash around the stereo, i need to take out the stereo to splice in the ignition and ground to hook up my CB for my trip with my caravan to arizona.

super easy.... take the cup holder thing out and the ashtray too. There are 2 screws behind the cup thing and 2 above the ash tray. (put the car in 4th gear for some room to work) the trim just pops off exposing the screws for the radio...you should be good after that....

see that was the thing, i pulles the cupholder out and got those 2 out, but i pulled the ashtray and couldn't find the other 2 last night, ill have to try again today in the daylight.

the other 2 point straight up (verticle) not straight back (horizontal). You will need a small (stubby) phillips.

thanks, i got them out and got my CB wired in now so it only has power when the ignition is on, that way i cant kill the battery.
